Message from Our Chair

It feels like just yesterday that I was sitting at a spring conference as a brand-new membership director. I can still remember looking around the room at the Chamber CEOs who were making such an incredible impact in their communities and thinking to myself, “I want to be like them someday.”

Here I am, almost 15 years later, honored to serve as Chair of this organization that has shaped my career and given me so much. The friendships, advice, and mentorship I’ve found through FACP have been invaluable, and I know many of you share that same experience.

As I step into this role, my hope is that each of you take full advantage of the access you have to this incredible network. Reach out to your neighboring chambers. Share ideas. Ask questions. Offer encouragement. When we work together, we not only elevate our industry, we elevate each other.

This year, I want to encourage you to get engaged in whatever way works best for you. Join a regional meeting, attend one of our professional development seminars, plug into our monthly advocacy calls, or join your peers at the Annual and/or Spring Conference. Every time you show up, you’ll gain something valuable and, more importantly, you’ll strengthen the fabric of our chamber community.

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your Chair, and I look forward to what we will accomplish together. Let’s keep lifting each other up, sharing generously, and working side by side to advance excellence in chamber management across Florida.
