Florida’s top chamber executives throughout the state were recognized for outstanding achievement and dedication to their industry at the 89th annual leadership conference of the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals held October 12-14 in Orlando in conjunction with the Florida Chamber’s Future of Florida Forum.

The prestigious chamber professional of the year award acknowledges a chamber executive who has made outstanding contributions in the world and work of chamber management. The individual must meet several criteria including: having strong internal administration and organization; the ability to maintain an increase membership; development of a strategic plan and an ability to recruit, motivate and reward the volunteers.

This year, FACP honored Carol Roberts, President & CEO, Bay County Chamber of Commerce. Roberts has served 32 years in the chamber profession all at the Bay County Chamber. She is on the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals Board of Directors and services as a Regional Chair for the Association. The Bay County Chamber has been accredited by the U.S. Chamber for the past 30 years.
